Scopus API and Google Map
The Scopus Application Program Interface (API) enables developers to pick-out Scopus data elements and let them create their own Mashups. The API returns Scopus data in a format that is easily integrated into an application or a web site.
Below is a simple Mashup example to illustrate how the Scopus API can be applied in combination with Google maps.
The map visualizes the publishers geographic location of the 20 most highly cited articles in Scopus per subject area available in the drop down menu.
If you find this example useful or have any suggestions please send these to api@scopus.com or visit our Scopus
API website to get your own Scopus API.
